2013 NJCDEA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

NJCDEA is dependent on the support, commitment and dedication of our members. Membership is open to any NJ Conservation District Employee, and those who support the purpose and mission of the Association. Members are encouraged to attend meetings and participate in our activities. Only members can vote on Association business and be elected to the Board of Directors.

Dues are only $10.00 per year.

NEW JERSEY ENVIROTHON

The New Jersey Envirothon competition is a one-day event that takes place at the end of the school year for students in grades 9-12. Teams will be tested on environmental topics through hands-on interactive problem solving at five testing stations. The team that demonstrates the most fundamental knowledge, as well as teamwork and communication skills, moves on to represent New Jersey in the National Envirothon competition.

The New Jersey Envirothon hosted by the Bergen County Conservation District is sponsored by: NJ Department of Agriculture & State Soil Conservation Committee, NJ Association of Conservation Districts, USDA-Natural Resource Conservation Service, NJ Department of Environmental Protection, Rutgers Cooperative Extension, and the NJ Conservation District Employees Association.
