By January 2003, NJCDEA will adopt a Strategic Plan.
Produce document (Strategic Plan)
Distribute Strategic Plan to Districts via e-mail network with hard copies to each district.
Post Strategic Plan on Association webpage.
Review comments, adopt strategic plan by Board of Directors
By December 2002, NJCDEA will develop job descriptions for all board members.
By January 2005, NJCDEA will have a fully engaged and funded association with membership of 90%.
By the NJACD 2004 Annual Meeting, NJCDEA will develop a funding plan, logo, hats, shirts, etc. for identity.
By January 2003, NJCDEA will change it's name to the New Jersey Conservation District Employees Association (NJCDEA).
Network & Communication
By January 2003, NJCDEA will develop an e-mail network to reach members.
By January 2003, NJCDEA will provide updates via the e-mail network.
NJCDEA will expand and improve our newsletter.
On an ongoing basis, NJCDEA will promote and maintain our website.
2 months after the NJACD Annual Meeting in 2003, NJCDEA will adopt a letterhead layout and have letterhead printed.
Professional Development
By July 2003, NJCDEA will provide full 2 day leadership workshop.
By October 2002, NJCDEA will provide training on legislative outreach.
By the NJACD 2003 Annual Meeting, NJCDEA will provide training in "NJ Partnership 101".
By October 2002, NJCDEA will have an employee representative on the State Technical Committee.
Representation
NJCDEA will be recognized by the NJ Conservation Partnership as a full partner.
